- Cookies — small files placed by our hosting platform to support core site functionality and security
We do not currently operate user accounts, an online store, or a live email newsletter, so we do not collect information tied to those features. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Steady Source is hosted on WordPress.com and uses Jetpack, which may place cookies to support core site functionality, security, and anonymous traffic statistics. We do not currently use cookies for advertising.

Analytics
We use Jetpack Stats, built into our WordPress.com hosting, to understand how visitors use the site for example, which pages are viewed and how often. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics tool.
Contact Forms
When you submit our Contact form, the information you provide is used only to review and respond to your message. Submissions are also screened by Akismet, a spam-filtering service, to help keep the form free of spam.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records through this form.
Email Communications
Steady Source does not currently offer an active email newsletter or subscription option. A future email signup may become available as the website grows, and this policy will be updated to explain how to subscribe and unsubscribe when that happens.
Affiliate Links
Some pages on this site may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, Steady Source may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not affect our editorial independence or recommendations.
Embedded Content
Steady Source does not currently include embedded videos or social media content. If we add embedded content in the future such as YouTube videos it may behave as if you had visited the originating website directly, including the potential collection of data about your interaction with that embedded content. This policy will be updated if that changes.

Steady Source currently relies on the following services to operate the website:
- WordPress.com — website hosting and infrastructure
- Jetpack — site security, performance, the contact form, and anonymous traffic statistics
